• The Swiss National Bank held its policy rate steady at zero percent this morning. The policy statement suggests that SNB messaging has barely shifted compared the March meeting;

• During the post-meeting press conference, questions focused on the possibility of tactical rate hikes to rebuild policy space above zero. We remain convinced this is currently a non-starter and that we are in for twelve more months of zero-interest rate policy.
